On June 1 2025, Scotia and her fiancee Lilly lost their family matriarch, Linda Hanss. We are fundraising to help Scotia while she handles services for Linda & takes time to grieve this devastating loss.

Linda Hanss was not only an amazing, supportive mother and friend. She was also a guiding light, a smiling face and a fierce advocate for her community and the many children she served through the years as a New Paltz School District bus driver. Linda will be missed by so many, not least of all by her family.

Scotia and Lilly are now faced with handling end of life services for Linda. They will also need time to rest and grieve this devastating loss. This will mean loss of income, among other challenges. We'd like to help lighten this load by raising some funds, in honor of Linda and all that she's given to our community through the years.
