It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Letica Soto, a friend and colleague from the WWF Chile Office. The unexpected loss of our dear colleague, left her family and her son heartbroken. After a sudden stroke, she passed away on June 12 but before leaving, she contributed many years of her life to our work at WWF. Leticia did not only left behind her smile, warmth, and magic touch but also a devastated family and a 12-year boy to whom she was everything.

Leticia touched the lives of so many and we now have an opportunity to give back to her family in their time of need. At this time, her family is struggling with the multiple commitments arising from this situation, from medical bills, the cost of the funeral and most importantly, his son's future. We are raising money to cover these costs as this passing was completely unexpected.
