In Memory of Leo Pavlatos

Dear Family and Friends,

We are saddened to announce the tragic and unexpected passing of Leo Pavlatos on Good Friday, April 10th, 2020.  Leo was a husband to Phyllis; father to Vince, Tara and Zack; father-in-law to Maria; grandfather to Christopher and Natalie; and a friend to many.

Anyone who knew Leo will remember his stories (we all know how he could talk & talk & talk to anyone...), his infectious booming laugh, and the way he could liven up a room.

We know how much Leo loved his family and friends. He was so proud of his children and all that they had accomplished - he would never hesitate to tell you what each of them was up to and how proud he was of them.

Leo was fiercely loyal to those he loved, and he was someone you could count on for anything.  He was the one you called if you were in a jam or needed some help because you knew he would do anything for you.  And now suddenly, without warning, he is gone.

These have been unprecedented and uncertain times for all of us and the family is just trying to wrap their heads and hearts around their sudden loss & to figure out their “new normal”. They are so grateful to everyone that has reached out in the last week offering help, love, and support. 

So many people have been reaching out to express their condolences to Phyllis, and to the kids, wanting to pay tribute to Leo – and in doing so, many have asked how they can help.  The Pavlatos family cannot hold a memorial service at this time given the current pandemic, but they would like to “celebrate his life”, as soon as this all lifts and we are able to be together again.  Any contributions received will go towards future expenses that the family will incur for a Memorial Celebration, and a donation to a charity in Leo’s name.
