Lani’s Legacy Foundation: Fund Life-Saving Equipment Locally

Help Us Save Lives—One Breath at a Time
Every five days, a child dies from choking in the United States.
It’s silent. It’s sudden. And it’s preventable.
After tragically losing our daughter, we made a promise: to turn our pain into purpose. That promise became a mission—to ensure no other family has to experience the helplessness of watching a loved one choke without a way to intervene.
We are raising funds to distribute LifeVac anti-choking devices to:
• Local households with children or elderly residents
• Churches and places of worship
• Daycares, schools, and community centers
• Families who otherwise couldn’t afford one
LifeVac is a proven, easy-to-use, non-invasive airway clearance device that has saved hundreds of lives—including toddlers, seniors, and even pregnant women. In moments where the Heimlich doesn’t work—or isn’t an option—this device can be the difference between life and death.
But awareness and access are everything.
This fundraiser will help us:
✅ Donate LifeVac kits to families and organizations in need
✅ Host safety workshops and training sessions in our community
✅ Increase awareness about the silent dangers of choking, especially for children and the elderly
We’ve already started distributing devices—and we’ve seen the impact firsthand. Now, we’re asking for your help to expand this life-saving effort.
Every donation helps save a life.
• $70 provides one LifeVac device to a family
• $250 equips a small daycare or classroom
• $500 supports a full awareness event with training and materials
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, teacher, or just someone who cares—thank you for standing with us in this mission. Let’s protect the ones we love, before it’s too late.
With gratitude and hope,
Lani’s Legacy Foundation #InMemoryOfLeilani
Little did I know when we picked her name that “Leilani” means Heavenly Flowers, or Royal Child of Heaven. A name truly fit for her destiny ❤️
Lilly and Lawson, our other two children, know that their sister is awaiting their reunion in Heaven many, many years from now and that they have to live pure lives and be the best disciples they can be in order to see “Cece” again at Heaven’s gates where she will crawl to greet them. This was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, explaining this to them.
Lastly, the most important thing to remember is to be where your feet are, always. Take the pictures, go on the vacations, create memorable moments with the ones you love ❤️. Thank you.
