After being encouraged by others to start a GoFundMe, this page has been born. The funds will go directly to the parents and sister who are sharing costs and preparing the memorial with the funeral home.
Laura "Blue" Bonnet passed away into God's hands on Sunday evening sometime between 5:30-6:30pm. May her sweet wonderful soul be tenderly cared for by the Angels, and she be in paradise with her Creator. I hope she gets to watch her favorite movie The Princess and the Frog while having a fun hangout with her dear cousin Alan who passed away a few years ago at the age of 31 from scoliosis.
Blue was a masterful cook, amazing makeup artist, and wonderful daughter, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She will be sorely and dearly missed. Our hearts are broken over this tragic loss.
She loved her fur babies as well as all of those close to her. She would have wanted everyone to be able to attend the memorial, so we as a family want to open our hearts and the memorial to anyone who'd like to come pay their last wishes and respects. Please feel free to bring flowers, cards, and letters to Blue and/or her family.
We'd like to thank EVERYONE who has been offering their support, words of comfort, and prayers. It's meant the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And thank you to anyone who contributes to the expenses of this tragic event.
Funeral will be Sunday June 2, 2019 at Colonnial Funeral Home 625 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, TX 78148.
Visitation (Open casket) is 3-5pm. Service starts 5pm, catered reception to follow.
We welcome cards or letters to Blue and/or her family, flowers, potluck items.
We encourage wearing blue and other happy bright colors instead of the traditional black. But also wear whatever feels right for you!
Blue is survived by mother Kim Kelley & her life partner Kevin Hollister, father Ted Bonnet, sister Mandelyn “Mandy” Reese, son Aiden (given up for adoption), her partner Nick Amescua, his daughter Emma, grandmother Rosetta Kelley, aunt & uncle Darleen & Brad Dorr, uncles Gary, Bobby, & Brian Bonnet, cousins Brandon & Caleb Bonnet, cousins John, Amber, Jordan, & Emily Dorr. And all of her beloved friends and pets.
