Sadly, LaKiya passed away on August 11, 2021, after a long illness.

LaKiya was a loyal friend, a person with a big personality and an even bigger heart, a loving daughter and wife. But above all else, she was a devoted mother. Her three kids were the center of her world, and she did everything she could to provide and care for them. With her death, LaKiya's kids need the help of the many people whose lives she touched and the broader circle of friends who want to see her kids supported in this difficult moment. This fundraiser is in support of them: CJ (16), Kayla (12), and Major (9). Anything you can give will be used to assist with their ongoing needs.
