It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, La’alaai Lucy Perosi. We are heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Mother but rejoice in knowing she’s with our heavenly Father.

Many knew her as Laai. She was not just a mother to us, but a loving grandmother, great grandmother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a friend. Our mother was always the first to lend a helping hand and offer prayers to whoever she crossed paths with. She was God fearing, humble, joyful, supportive, loving, and a prayer warrior.

In recent months Laai’s liver disease advanced to end-stage cirrhosis. While undergoing numerous tests to choose the best path forward, it was discovered that her heart also needed immediate attention. After many consultations with her medical team, we learned that the only way to give her a chance to live was a liver transplant and open heart surgery at the same time. She was flown from a Hawaii based hospital to the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center for candidacy evaluation. While we had faith in the Doctors at UCLA, God had other plans. God must’ve needed her more because He suddenly called her to Heaven.

This journey has been a challenging road to travel both emotionally and financially. We are reaching out to our family, friends, and community for support during this challenging time. Your generous donations will help cover left over medical expenses as well as funeral expenses.
