It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we share that Kyle Bowman peacefully passed away during the night, between Friday and Saturday, this past weekend.
To all of those that knew Kyle, he was the dearest friend and bravest fighter. He first faced his biggest hurdle, when he wrapped up his senior of high school with the diagnosis of a brain tumor. He courageously fought and overcame cancer. After that experience, he became even more passionate about advocating for those in need or less fortunate, whether it be fellow cancer patients/survivors, those with disabilities, veterans, needy animals, or a number of other causes. He made the most of his second chance at life.
Kyle was the kind of friend that quite literally lit up a room. He always shared exactly what was on his mind, whether it be the funniest story you had ever heard or his opinion of a recent event or sports game, which typically included a few choice expletives. He had an endearing way of caring less about what anyone thought of him and was admirably himself at all times. Any time spent with Kyle, you were guaranteed a good laugh, even if it was at his expense. He just loved bringing joy to those around him.
Kyle rarely showed up to an event without a 6-pack of Redds Hard Apple Ales and sporting some form of patriotic garb. He will be dearly remembered by his love for gaming with the boys, his family and friends, complaining about any form of physical activity, and his signature goodbye - "Love, love, love."
Any and all funds raised will go directly towards the expense of Kyle's funeral services and to help aid his family with any additional needs that may arise during this difficult time.
