In Memory of Kylan: Aid for Funeral and Medical Costs

Donation protected
Kylan Graham Bosworth was born to Kallon and Cassidy Bosworth on January 31st, 2024. He came into the world as such a perfect, tiny guy at 4 lbs 15 oz but with a huge presence and already into an abundance of love. Our lives were forever changed when he entered our lives and will be forever changed. Kylan had the brightest eyes you could ever imagine, and those beautiful blue eyes were busy taking everything in whenever they were open, because he also very much enjoyed his cozy naps under a toasty blanket. Kylan was the king of snuggles anytime someone (especially Mommy and Daddy) had the time. Kylan's absolute favorite toys were his pianos with the many lights and sounds. If there were bananas in sight, they were not for long as Kylan was fast to devour them as quickly as he could. When he was introduced to solid food, there were very few things he didn't enjoy, unless it was eggs or avocados, especially when Mommy tried to mix avocado into his cottage cheese. Kylan experienced many firsts surrounded by his very proud and loving parents and family, especially on the most recent family vacation they were able to enjoy together.

The beautiful family vacation moments were quickly put on hold when Kylan developed a fever and started not feeling well shortly after they returned home. Upon entering the hospital, it was discovered that Kylan had a bacterial meningitis infection along with a viral infection in his bloodstream. After receiving unbelievably remarkable care at OSF Children's Hospital of Peoria, Kylan entered the Lord's Arms and gained his wings on September 19, 2024, at 2:27 pm.

With the unexpected funeral expenses, the Pediatric Intensive care stay of almost a week, along with ambulance transport will most definitely generate expenses that may not be covered by current insurance coverages that this young couple had never imagined they would need to plan for.

There has been an amazing outpour of support from the surrounding communities along with the many family and friends asking how they can help and support this family through their grief journey, so we have generated this page to allow a place to assist this family. If there are any additional funds provided, Kallon and Cassidy plan to give back to the OSF Children's Hospital in Peoria to assist other parents and children that may have to receive treatment from the amazing team that took wonderful care of Kylan.

Kallon and Cassidy would like to thank everyone that has been sending prayers. The song Prince of Peace (Live) by Josh Baldwin has provided great comfort to Kallon and Cassidy over the last few days.

Visitation and Funeral services are pending and will be shared when they are set.
