In memory of Kurt Scott. Support fund for children

Kurt Scott was a victim of a tragic car accident that occurred on Sunday January 27th 2019 in Cochrane Alberta.
Kurt was on his way to Lake Louise ski resort with his two children Zoë (age 16) and Jacob (age14). A road they traveled often as they loved to spend time together skiing. As they were driving an on coming truck lost control and as a result there was a collision. Kurt sustained life threatening injuries from the accident. He was transported to the foot hills medical centre in Calgary. With his family and friends at his side. Kurt passed away at 1:09am on Monday January 28th 2019. At the young age of 44. This loss came unexpectedly, he was soo young and taken from us far too soon.
Kurt was a hero this day, with a selfless act in a split second Kurt managed to avoid a head on collision by adjusting the direction of their vehicle. Which meant him taking the full impact of the collision to save his children.
The sacrifice Kurt made for his children, means not getting to watch Zoë graduate high school next year. Or any of the big life events that will occur in her and Jacobs lives, which he so badly would have wanted to be present for.
Kurt was a guy who was full of life, his goal at all times was for everyone around him to be having a good time. His sense of humour was one of a kind, his smile was infectious, and he had a heart of gold. Kurt was always the life of the party.
Kurt will forever be missed by those who had the honour of knowing him.
Kurt’s family wanted to set up this go fund me page to help his children with whatever the future may bring to their lives. As we all know Kurt would have done anything for his children and also been there for them no matter what. These funds will be transferred to a trust fund that has been created solely for his children.
