Kruize Alan Stockfelt was born December 2, 2000. He grew up in Ocean Beach San Diego, attending Warren Walker Elementary, Correia Junior High and Point Loma High School. He was the epitome of a Southern California boy, blond and blue eyed, always with a smile on his face. From a young age he loved to skateboard, surf and ride dirt bikes in the desert. Having just graduated from San Diego Charter School in June, he was headed off to Phoenix in a few weeks to turn his passion into a career - attending motorcycle mechanic school with a job already lined up for him upon certification.
At only 18 years old, on September 8, 2019, Kruize suffered a fatal motorcycle accident. He will be remembered by so many for his big heart, kindness, cheerful attitude, adventurous spirit, laughter, and for his love of his family.
These funds will be used to help his mother, April, with his funeral services and a memorial as she copes with this unfathomable tragedy.
We love you Kruize! Never to be forgotten, your light will always burn brightly in our hearts and memories.
Per GoFundMe's rules on transparency, the following must be included:
I am a friend of April's for over 30 years and have known Kruize since he was born. I have lived in Ocean Beach since 1987, served as a bridesmaid at April's wedding and consider her one of my dearest friends. The funds are being transferred directly to April's bank account, which she provided to me. She is using the donations to pay for his cremation services and associated costs, a celebration of life, to assist her as she takes some time off work, travels to collect his belongings, and to create a memorial for him in the desert.
