On June 8, 2025, we lost a dear family member, friend, and part of the community. Kristen was a fighter from the time she was a child, battling and beating osteosarcoma (bone cancer). She developed PPCM, a cardiac issue. Over the past couple of years, she has been in and out of the hospital with respiratory issues and cardiac issues, including A-FIB. She was in Salem Hospital for something as simple as stomach pain and ended up having to be airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center, where she was intubated. The doctors didn't have high hopes for her recovery, but Kristen pulled through.
Kristen was a fighter. She fought daily for her children, who she loved and adored so very much.
Kristen was not prepared to leave this world. She didn't think this would happen. Their father, DJ, is now their sole provider. He will be continuing to work full-time to provide for Mia and Mason.
Kristen didn't have a life insurance policy, so this has become a sudden financial stress for the family.
If there was anything Kristen would want, it would be for her babies to be taken care of. We are asking if anyone would like to donate in Kristen's honor as she has done for us all at one point or another, please do so. You can also reach out personally if you would rather use Cash, Venmo, or another mobile payment app. Any amount would go towards the memorial service for her but mainly for the care of Mia and Mason, as that's what Kristen would wish for.
She has helped us all so many times along the way; now it's our time to help her. Thank you for all the love and support. We appreciate it and know that she would be so grateful for the outpouring of love.
She was an incredible mom, granddaughter, girlfriend, cousin, and friend. She will be dearly missed by so many.
