On February 16, 2025, a beloved son, brother, cousin, grandchild, nephew, and dear friend of many, Kris Hacopian, passed away. His personality and heart were often indescribable—he always went the extra mile to help those in need, even if it meant putting himself in harms way. He built deep relationships and countless cherished memories that will continue to bring comfort and joy.

At just seven years old, Kris became a Cub Scout “Guylik” in the Homenetmen Glendale Ararat Chapter. Over the years, he rose in the ranks to Assistant Scoutmaster “Pokh Khembaped”, proudly dedicating himself to leading the next generation of scouts in Troop 155B ‘Ari 5’. Everyone who knew Kris will remember him just as his peers in the Difference Makers Bible Study Group remember him—as “a bright light who radiated God’s joy to everyone around him”.
