Kim Marie (Hostak)Moutsopoulos, 67, Neenah, WI passed away Thursday January 22, from leukemia. She was born June 23, 1958, in Kewanee, WI to Gloria (Bruemmer) Kuhar and Alban Hostak.
Kim grew up in Ashwaubenon and was a graduate of Ashwaubenon High School. She married Mano Moutsopoulos in 1986. They resided in Appleton for many years before moving to Athens, Greece. Upon the death of her husband, Kim returned to Wisconsin, settling in Neenah where she worked several jobs before retiring. Kim enjoyed good food and excelled as a cook. Her family and friends never left her home without bellies full and arms filled with leftovers. Her energetic enthusiasm for life saw her spending much of her free time dancing, cycling, swimming, and enjoying a wide variety of exercise classes. Kim’s kind heart and generosity compelled her to volunteer in the Big Sister program, supporting young people. Her Joyful spirit will be missed by all who loved her.
Kim was a member of Christ the Rock Church, DePere, Wi. Her strong faith in God sustained her during her battle with cancer.
Kim is survived by her father, Alban (stepmother, Irene) mother, Gloria (stepfather, Jim), Kuhar, brother Mike, sister Amy Holland (brother in law John Holland), nephews Isaiah and Noah Hostak, Archie Holland, and niece Maxine Holland. She is also survived by aunts and cousins, and special friend Saul Castillo.
