In Memory Of Kevin Watson
Donation protected
All proceeds of this campaign will go towards Kevin’s funeral cost which was handled by his niece, Dr. Angeleta Taylor. The goal will be set for $8,000, as that was the cost of all arrangements for his burial. Normally, we would start a little collection, but since we are all at home from work because of this epidemic, this online option is a good alternative. Any additional donations will then go to his daughters to help support them through this difficult time.
Kevin Watson was born in Miami Florida, October 13, 1970 to Gladys Watson and Jackie Watson Jr. He departed this life on Friday, April 10, 2020. Kevin moved to New York as a child and then went on to complete high school. He graduated from an automotive technical school and became certified as a Master automotive technician.
Kevin went on to join Local 580 as a Journeyman and was able to apply his skills from school toward his new trade. He was a highly skilled and knowledgeable worker who had acquired many certifications and was an asset to every company he was with. He was most recently employed by Greg Beeche Logistics, where he was on many high profile jobs including Tower 1 (Freedom Tower), Nordstrom Tower (tallest residential in NYC) and 220 CPS (one of the most luxurious buildings).
Kevin was a devoted and loving father, he was a selfless man. He was kind hearted and always willing to help others. The greatest attribute Kevin brought to any group, whether work or personal, was he had the uncanny ability to make people laugh and be comfortable around him.
