In memory of Fire Chief Kevin Soule

We are deeply saddened to share the news of Fire Chief Kevin Peter Soule's passing at the age of 59 on July 4th, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport. He was surrounded by his family. He demonstrated incredible bravery throughout his battle with cancer.

Chief Kevin Soule served as a pillar of the community. He dedicated his time to the town of Union, spending the last decade as the Chief of Union Fire-Rescue. His absence leaves a significant void, and will be deeply felt by all.

Over the past few years, the Soule family has privately faced significant financial challenges due to medical issues. In his unwavering commitment as a husband, Kevin took time off from work to accompany his beloved wife to her chemotherapy sessions and medical appointments as she bravely fought breast cancer. Kevin was devoted to his wife's well-being until she made a complete recovery.

The Soule family will need time to grieve, find solace in their memories, and time to figure out their new path forward. We hope to support them during this process and help alleviate some of the financial burden during this difficult time.
