Hello Family and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dad, Mr. Kevin M. Ervin.

On March 20th, 2025, I received a phone call from a frantic BJC caseworker trying to find my dad's Power of Attorney (me).

My dad went to the hospital for chest pain on March 9th and was given medicine for blood pressure. When it did not help, he returned on March 12th and was later flown to Barnes. When I was notified, my dad had been at Barnes for 4 days, non-responsive, with his body shutting down. My dad's heart was too weak to continue fighting.

My dad was a congestive heart failure patient who underwent several surgeries and multiple hospital visits pertaining to his heart. In the end, he fought a good fight but lost his battle.

My dad's sudden and tragic loss leaves his family in need of funeral expenses. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
