In Memory of Kevin Gilchrest: Funeral Aid

Story

My brother, Kevin Gilchrest passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2025. We cannot afford funeral expenses as we are all on fixed incomes. I've never made anything like this before and I don't like asking for anything, but I don't know what else to do. I am so heartbroken, it's hard to even think right. If you knew Kevin, you knew how fun and funny he was, especially in his younger years. He loved to make people laugh. He would crack up at his own jokes and then you would laugh just because he was laughing. His laughter was contagious. He apparently had been suffering from diabetes long before he knew that he had diabetes (he had just found out a couple of years ago), long before anyone knew. After reading about it and looking back now, I think he had this going on most of his life and unfortunately none of us had any clue (though maybe we should have realized; he would be so thirsty that he would drink a 2-liter bottle of soda in one sitting, terrible I know, and I told him not to drink that, especially all at once, but Kev didn't listen to me). I feel so awful that he was more than likely sick most of his life and no one recognized that. If anyone can help in any way, please do so. I am beside myself, we all are. Thank you. Sorry if this doesn't even make sense, I just can't stop crying and it's kinda hard to think right, ya know? Really any amount will help, even just a $1, or $5. Also, please pray for my family.
