In memory of Kennedy Kaminju Kariuki

Leo Foundation started this fundraiser to support the family of Kennedy Kaminju Kariuki with medical and funeral expenses.

Kennedy was a PhD researcher at Leiden University, partially supported by the Leo Foundation. He worked on lion conservation and human-wildlife conflict management in Kenya. Kennedy was a very promising scientist, who didn't shy away to dive deep into the topic he was working on. He further combined his scientific work with storytelling and conservation outreach. He was a fellow of African Conservation Voices and a National Geographic explorer.

We are shocked by his unexpected passing and mourn the loss of a passionate and inspirational conservationist. Leo Foundation will ensure that 100% of the donations will get to Kennedy's family to support them in this difficult time.
