We’re coming together to support Amanda and Chris, in light of the tragic loss of their mother, Kelly Walsh Hayes. Kelly was kind, compassionate, and a light to this world. With this GoFundMe, we are hoping to lighten the financial load that is coming with losing not only Kelly, but both of their parents in less than 2 years.

Kelly Ann Walsh Hayes, 53, passed away on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, in her home. She was previously employed by JFK Medical Center, Edison, and served on Iselin Emergency Services and First Aid. As a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, she previously served as a Eucharist Minister, teaching Religious Education for many years.

She is predeceased by her father, Edward Joseph Walsh; her husband, Robert J. Hayes; her daughter, Katelyn; and her aunt, Kathie Jackson. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Rose Hayes; her son, Christopher Hayes; her mother, Marian Rust Walsh; her sister, Laurie Alberty; her uncle, Don Rust; her nieces, Brianna & Francesca Alberty; along with several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, from 3pm to 6pm, at the Gundrum Service “Home for Funerals.” A memorial mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, January 26th, at 11am, at St. Mary’s Church.
