In Memory Of Keely Birks, Loss Of A Young Life.

I am setting this fundraiser up for my brother and sister-in-law on the horrific loss of their beautiful daughter Keely Birks, whom was tragically killed from a hit and run. At around 8pm on Saturday the 20th of November Keely and her friend was crossing at the lights on Harvey Road when suddenly a reckless driver driving well over the 40mph speed limit hit Keely. Keely was left with serious injuries and sadly passed away. Keely was a beautiful young person whom was liked and loved by so many. Loosing a loved one is hard enough but Keely was a 17 year old girl, who had the rest of her life to live but was cut short by a careless thug. It is a hard time for the family and I think this fundraiser will help ease some of the stresses you get from loosing a child and the worry of affording a funeral when you are trying to greive. Keely's mum and dad will not be in any state to go to work at the minute, so I feel this would help a little in the devastation that had unfolded. The family are so grateful for the kind words and support that has been received within the last 24 hours.
