In Memory of Katia: Our Beautiful Angel

Hello, my name is Karla Batiste. I am one of Katia’s older sisters. Unfortunately, I am here with the task of having to explain the horrible reality we have now. On Thursday, August 29th, our Kati left us. We are truly heartbroken and our entire universe is shattered. With our terrible loss, we are now faced with the responsibilities of honoring her life in the most beautiful way and the most Katia way possible…

Anything helps and we appreciate everything and everyone.

The time has come to shut down this GoFundMe… I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that shared this link and donated. I cannot express how much this meant to my family and I, and how much this helped. The amount of love and support that we have felt is immense. The support system that we are blessed enough to have has made this experience bearable. We love and appreciate everyone that has helped and are forever grateful for all the support.
