My best friend, Katharine "Katie" Svaldi lost her life tragically on Tuesday, Feb 10th. She and I met in middle school and have remained close through all the years. No matter where Katie lived, she'd make time for family and friends. Katie lived a life full of love and devotion. She could talk your ear off or just sit and listen to you talk. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was accepting of others choices and beliefs. She wanted all to feel included. She always loved to dance, spend time with family and friends, travel, and her fur babies. She would do anything to help her family or friends. She was a light to so many of us. She leaves behind a huge hole in the lives of so many but especially her mother and children. The family appreciates the continued prayers during this difficult time.
