Hi, my name is Sara and I’m a close long time friend of Katie & Autumn Baker. It’s with a heavy heart that I share, Katie has passed unexpectedly early Saturday Oct 25th morning from an unforeseen medical emergency. (splenic artery aneurysm rupture.)

I’m hoping to help Autumn and her father raise enough money to cover the cost of the funeral and medical bills the family will accrue after the unexpected passing of Katie. We are grateful for any donations and contributions that will allow Katie to receive the service she deserves to be celebrated and remembered by.

She was the best sister, daughter, auntie, niece, cousin, and friend that anyone could ever ask for.

She was pure light — kind, joyful, and full of love that touched everyone she met.

Love was her religion. Her kindness and ability to empathize with anyone whom crossed her path was blessed. She sought to find a way to meet you where you were at unconditionally and allow you to feel seen and heard. Katie embodied the definition of selflessness. Her journey was pure and with meaning. She lived poetically and allowed us to see her world through her lens. Though her time with us was far too short, her spirit will continue to shine through all of us who were blessed to know and love her. ✨
