In Memory of Kathy Hallgren

Please help support the Hallgren and Green family through this very difficult and unexpected time with the loss of their mother. Kathy Rose Hallgren of Wilmington, North Carolina went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 07, 2023.

Kathy was a beloved Mother, Nana, Sister, dog-grandma, friend, caretaker, and servant. She was there for anyone at any time and loved everyone she knew with her whole heart. She knew no stranger. For most of her life, she worked with those with disabilities and aside from her daughters and grandchildren, that was her calling and life passion. Those she took care of were truly family to her. When not working, volunteering at church, or playing with her grandchildren, you could find her searching for sea glass at the beach, relaxing by the pool, or hanging out with her friends.

Kathy is survived by her daughters: Amber Green and husband Travis and Tanner Hallgren both of Wilmington, NC; two grandchildren: Navy Green and Ruby Green; mother Caroline DeSimone Kiesel of Huntington Station, NY; sister: Deborah Kiesel and partner Joe Pontieri, brothers: Wayne Kiesel and wife Suzanne, Charles Kiesel and wife Susan all of NY.

She leaves a deep void and ache in many hearts but she is now with Jesus in her eternal resting place where we will soon embrace her again.
