Hello, who I am is unimportant, especially in comparison to the person I am about to tell you about.
Karyn Brown (Delvis) was a force of love and joy, and everyone who knew her felt it. She was born in 1964 and dedicated her life to her family and her beloved dogs. Her passing, following a long and difficult battle with aggressive cancer, has left her family heartbroken. She will be so missed by her husband Steve, all of her children, and her grandchildren, and much more family and many friends.
Karyn and Steve were true soulmates. They blended their seven children later welcoming a son together, creating a beautiful, sprawling family.
After a period of remission, when the cancer returned, Karyn really prioritized making memories with those she held closest to her heart, her children, grandchildren and of course her dogs and Steve. Always fighting to make every moment count.
Now, as Steve grieves the loss of his best friend, and the kids and grandkids mourn the loss of their mother and grandmother, we want to ease the financial burden.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help cover cremation and other final expenses, allowing them to focus on healing without financial worry.
Your donation, no matter the amount, is a gift of support for Karyn’s family. Thank you for your kindness during this difficult time.
Any funds that remain after all expenses are covered will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and/or Brown Paws of Edgerton, organizations that were deeply meaningful to Karyn.
A Celebration of life is planned on August 30, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Lounge 1848 in Edgerton.
