Hi Friends,

With broken hearts we are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses for Karen Henderson. Karen was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend but above all she was an animal lover.

Over the years she’s had pet mice, birds, fish, iguanas, and even a tarantula… but the true loves of her life were her dogs. She was a rescuer, making sure any pup who came home with her knew that no matter what happened to them previously, they were safe and loved now. Her compassion and gentleness made animals trust her instinctively. She never met an animal that didn’t love her.

While she has had many health issues, her death was unexpected. She did not have life insurance, and had been on disability for most of her adult life. Any donation will help ease the financial burden on our family as we try to give her a  goodbye that would make her smile. We thank you in advance for any support, prayers, and shares.
