Hello everyone,

My name is Gladys King and I am a fellow church member and choir sister of Sakari Baker, a devoted mother, friend, and servant in the Tallahassee community.

Our hearts are broken as we share the devastating news that Sakari tragically lost her 3-year-old son, Kane Josiah Amir Thomas, to a gunshot. No parent should ever have to endure such pain, and we are rallying together as a community to surround Sakari with love, prayer, and practical support during this heartbreaking time.

As Sakari takes time away from work to grieve and navigate the difficult days ahead, we want to help lift the financial burdens that come with funeral arrangements and monthly living expenses. This fundraiser has been created to bless her with the resources she needs so she can focus on healing without the added stress of financial worry.
