In Memory of Kainoa Miller: Easing the Burden for His Family

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Cortney and I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister’s family, as they have quite a bit on their plate at the moment, and I am trying to alleviate some of the stress off of my sister and her husband while they organize the next steps for life without our beloved 2 year old sweet boy, Kainoa.

I am hoping that our community of family and friends, and friends of friends and family, will be able to come together to help support his parents during this incredibly hard time. The funds will be given directly to Kainoa’s parents, Samantha and Kalani Miller, to try and help alleviate some of their financial burdens to help ensure the expenses associated with this time, such as medical and funeral expenses, are the least of their worries.

From the Miller Family,

We are heartbroken to share that we lost our beloved Kainoa in a tragic accident.

Kainoa was only 2 years old, with his whole life ahead of him. He was a beautiful, precious toddler with a heart of gold. He was a loving, gentle soul, with giggles that could lift anyone’s spirits. Kainoa was born “a chill little dude” who could be content observing and staying cuddled in the lap of someone he loved. But he was naturally adventurous, seeking out everything and anything that can thrill a toddler, from exploring Mina Donna and Papa Herman's house, playing in his blow up jumpy castle, spinning in his swing, savoring every park excursion, traversing the aquarium, and running around the Springs Preserve. He just wanted to see and touch everything. He loved animals and being outdoors. He was all smiles when he jammed out with his daddy to music, and his mommy always got big smiles and belly laughs while dancing during every late night baby dance party. He loved singing, especially when his Grandma Ellie would serenade him to sleep for nearly every nap time. He loved playing with his 3 year old brother, Kaipo, and his 1 year old cousin, Theo, every single day, but he also relished in victory every time he returned from successfully chasing after whichever tiny family member had taken possession of his toys, especially when Elmo and Cookie Monster were back in his arms. In short, Kainoa was full of love and wonder, and he took every opportunity he could get to explore his world around him.

Kainoa’s very unexpected passing has left a huge void in our hearts where the pain is unimaginable, and he will forever be in our memories.

Our world has been turned upside, and we really don't know what to do, or even think. Kainoa’s passing has affected so many of us, and will affect us for years to come. He was taken way too soon, and no family should have to bear that.

Thank you for taking the time to read our page, your support truly means the world to us during this tragic time, and any help is very much appreciated.

Thank you all so much.
