The proceeds of this fundraiser are to support the Brumbaugh family through a time of profound suffering and grief, due to the tragic and unexpected loss of the oldest son, Kain Harley Brumbaugh.

On Monday, September 8th, Kain was found by his oldest sister at their home in Oroville after making the unimaginable decision to end his life. He was just 14 years old. This traumatic and unforeseen event has left his family and community that loved him in immeasurable shock, sorrow, and with questions that may never be answered.

Kain was known for his humor, his ability to bring laughter to others, and his fearless warrior spirit. Being goofy and mischievous. From the time he was able to speak, he said he wanted to grow up and be a soldier. He dreamed of joining The Marines as soon as he was of age. He will be remembered for the joy, love, and life we were blessed to share with him.

The weight of this tragedy alone is already too much to bear. We are asking for any support to help with memorial, funeral expenses, difficult clean up process, as well as to help cover day-to-day expenses as we navigate this tragedy.
