In Memory of Jumoke Taylor

It is with great sorrow that I announce the loss of one of our brothers, Jumoke Taylor. Jumoke and I have worked together since 2010, well before The LIV Method was even conceived.

I first met him when I was managing a gym down on Wall Street and we have worked together ever since.

To know him was to love him. He was always the kindest and most humble person in the room despite being the most talented. He was a true master of his craft. Watching Jumoke at work was like watching an artist create a masterpiece. His calm, focused demeanor always made you feel at ease, even when he was pushing his clients to their limits.

You couldn’t ask for a better employee yet he was an even better friend. He was there for you when you needed him and never asked for anything in return. His smile could light up a room and his hand shakes were the smoothest in the game. He has been by my side through all the ups and downs of starting this business and the void of his absence will be forever mourned.

While we await details of his funeral services we wanted to ask for your grace as the entire team deals with impact and loss of our brother. The LIV Method is truly a family and we are all deeply affected by this sudden and shocking news. We will be closing the studio on the day of his funeral and will all be in full attendance.

As I speak to his clients most of which have been with him for years, it only affirms what I have already known about his character. The impact he has left on all of them will be what all trainers aspire to, life-long and deeply meaningful.

We have set up this page in his honor and for funds to be withdrawn into our personal account and donated to his mother, Oslyn Claire Campbell, in support of this devastating loss. 

I am here as I always have been and will be to navigate this difficult time and very sad chapter in our company’s history.
