My dear friend Tori lost her mother, Julie Rasmussen, on January 1st, 2025, who suffered from a long illness for many years. Julie was born in Utah and moved to Sonoma in her 20s, and gave birth to her two children, Cody and Tori. Julie devoted her whole life to her children, being a caretaker to her son Cody for his whole life, who had a rare condition called EB. She was a great mother and a friend to everyone she knew. Julie loved her cats, Sissy and Charlie. Before her illness, she enjoyed watching movies and TV shows. Julie enjoyed the outdoors, visiting the creeks around town, and yard sales. We will truly miss Julie as she was a mother-like figure to all of Tori's friends.

As a community, let's try to help Tori through this uncertain time of healing. Every contribution—big or small—can help make a difference in helping her. All funds raised will go directly to Tori to help with all final arrangements and the cost of living after losing her mother. A celebration of life will be set for a later date.
