In Loving Memory of Julian Metsala: Support His Family

It is with immense sadness that we share the tragic and unexpected loss of Julian Metsala. Last Wednesday, December 11th, Julian was struck by a truck at work. Given his history of lung issues and blood clots, the resulting broken ribs and lung contusion posed significant risks. After the accident, he went straight to the ER and was released soon after.

Despite seeking additional medical care in the days that followed, Julian tragically passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of December 17th. Paramedics and doctors worked tirelessly for hours to revive him, but sadly, their efforts were unsuccessful.

Julian was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. To know him was to love him. His contagious smile and kind heart brought joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of crossing his path. He was deeply loved by too many to count and will be profoundly missed.

He is survived by his loving family: his mother, Alexandre; his sisters, Lauren and Audrey; his brother in law, Hunter, his nieces Frankie, Blake & Gwen; his stepfather, Scott; his devoted wife, Ana; his son, Julian; and his stepchildren, Sofia, Marley, and Mateo. Julian was also cherished by his chosen family—Preston, Valentina, Sebastian, Cameron, and Veda—along with countless others who held him close to their hearts.

A big thank you to Ana and Julian's neighbor, Justine, who rushed over and started CPR while waiting on paramedics.
