Dear Friends and Kind-Hearted Souls,
With a heavy heart, I share the devastating news of my grandfather’s passing. He suffered a sudden stroke, just one day before he was scheduled to go to the hospital. He had not been feeling well and was struggling to breathe, but none of us expected that we would lose him so soon. His passing was completely unexpected, leaving our family in deep sorrow as we navigate this heartbreaking loss.
He was a kind and loving man who lived 76 full years, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love. He is survived by his devoted wife, six children, many grandchildren, his in-laws and his brother—all of whom are mourning this profound loss.
My mother, his daughter, is grieving deeply, and our greatest wish is to help her travel to the Democratic Republic of Congo to say her final goodbyes and honor his memory. However, the unexpected costs of travel and memorial expenses have placed a financial strain on our family, and we are reaching out for support during this difficult time.
These funds will go directly toward:
• Helping my parents travel to Congo so my mother can be present for her father’s farewell.
• Covering the funeral and memorial expenses to honor his life and support our grieving family.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will ease this burden and bring comfort to our family. Please keep us in your prayers, it would mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
With gratitude,
