In memory of Judith Weitzner Shapiro
Donation protected
Judith was a beautiful woman who drank deeply from a broad river of human spiritual traditions, predominantly, though not exclusively, Christianity and Judaism. She embodied a spirit of love and forgiveness that was a model for her 35+ children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their spouses and friends. Her memory will be a blessing for the hundreds of people whose lives she touched.
Throughout her life, and particularly in the last years, she formed deep bonds with those who provided care and housekeeping for her and her husband Raymond. In honor of her memory, her family is accepting donations to a fund to use to say thank you to these women of color who struggle to make ends meet.

Judith's children were Roger Philips, Andy Philips, Jesse Philips, Nathan Philips and Martha Kahane
