In Memory of Juan Balbuena: Funeral Support

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our dad Juan Balbuena, on the morning of June 13. Our family is heartbroken as we begin the difficult process of saying goodbye to the man who meant everything to us. This month was meant to be a celebration of his birthday and Fathers day, but instead, we are mourning the loss of a special man.

Our father was a kind, hardworking and deeply caring person who touched many lives. He was the type of man who offered a helping hand without hesitation and was always ready to give those around him a good laugh. Those who knew him could agree that he brought warmth, laughter, and generosity everywhere he went. His love for his family was endless. He leaves behind his six children, and his four grandchildren. Although we lost him, we will carry on his stories, live by his example and continue to stay strong for him. We will continue to make him proud.

As we begin to make arrangements, we’re asking for help to cover the unexpected funeral and memorial expenses.

Con gran pesar, compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento de nuestro padre, Juan Balbuena, en la mañana del 13 de junio. Nuestra familia está desconsolada al comenzar el difícil proceso de despedirnos del hombre que significó todo para nosotros. Este mes estaba destinado a ser una celebración de su cumpleaños y del Día del Padre, pero en vez de eso, estamos de luto por la pérdida de un hombre muy especial.

Nuestro padre fue una persona amable, trabajadora y profundamente cariñosa que tocó muchas vidas. Era el tipo de hombre que ofrecía ayuda y siempre estaba listo para sacar una sonrisa. Los que conocieron a mi papá pueden decir que él fue alegre y generoso a dondequiera que iba. Su amor por su familia no tenía límites. Dejó atrás a sus seis hijos y a sus cuatro nietos. Aunque lo hemos perdido, llevaremos sus historias con nosotros, viviremos siguiendo su ejemplo y continuaremos siendo fuertes por él. Seguiremos esforzándonos por hacerlo sentir orgulloso.

Mientras comenzamos a hacer los arreglos, estamos pidiendo ayuda para cubrir los gastos inesperados del funeral y el memorial.
