On Monday, June 27th, our beloved Joshua, at 26 years old, passed away from a severe head injury.

Josh is a son, brother, twin, uncle and friend. Josh was so full of life and had the biggest heart. Always with a smile on his face, he loved making people laugh and immediately became friends with everyone he talked to! Josh adored his family and friends, loved hockey, enjoyed the outdoors such as fishing, hunting, snowboarding, and waterskiing, as well as being a risk taker and going on any adventure he could.

Because Josh was so caring and kind, he elected to be a donor. Josh’s heart is so big and strong it will live on with another kind soul. He was also able to donate his heart, kidneys, eyes, and tissue. In light of a terrible situation, we find comfort in knowing Josh is blessing others with his gifts of life.

Unfortunately, Josh did not have health insurance. With a 5 day ICU stay, medical costs will be astronomical. No parent should ever have to bury their child, let alone suffer the burden of endless medical bills.

We are uplifted by the best family, friends, and community of people who have all reached out with prayers and comfort, wanting to help. The best way to help Josh at this time could be a donation to help cover medical expenses and funeral costs. We are so appreciative of all of you and any amount would be greatly appreciated.
