In Memory of Josh Evju: Support His Loved Ones

We are heartbroken to share the sudden loss of Joshua Evju, a beloved husband, son, father, coach, colleague, beer afficionado, excellent meat cooker, positive-outlooker, A's hat wearer and friend, who passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2025. His passing has left his family and community heartbroken. Josh was a loving husband to his wife Ingrid and a devoted father to his two children, Hank and Lana, both Bishop O'Dowd graduates.

Josh was a caring friend and effective collaborator to many colleagues at US Bank and other organizations, where he made important contributions in supporting his clients.

Josh also volunteered for many years as an amazing coach and Board member in the Oakland Girls Softball League and the Vipers travel softball organization, passing along his baseball & softball expertise and positive attitude to the young players of Oakland. Josh served as one of the coaches for the Bishop O'Dowd varsity softball team, where he was unfailingly supportive, helpful, and kind. His steady and compassionate presence in the dugout and in life touched everyone around him. Josh will be sorely missed by the O'Dowd players, coaches, and parents, as well as by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In this difficult time, we are rallying together to support the Evju family with funeral costs and other urgent expenses as they navigate life without Josh. All donations will go directly toward funeral arrangements, household needs, and ongoing support for Ingrid, Hank, and Lana. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference.
