In Memory of Josey: Your Support Needed

Josephyn Maribella Tanner of Shinglehouse, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 15th, 2024.

Also known as Josey to us, she was born on March 14th, 2008, in Paris, Texas. Her autism allowed her to see the world in a very unique way that we were all grateful to be able to have shared with her. She was a very special soul and will be greatly missed by all who took the time to get to know her. She enjoyed all things outdoors, camping, 4-wheeling on ATV, swimming, roller blading, and gardening. Josey also loved animals, especially her dog, Lucky. She loved to watch movies and anime.

Family and friends are welcome to a viewing on Saturday July 27th from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Virgil L Howard Funeral Home . A short service will proceed directly after. A burial service will be at Sharon Cemetery. Please feel free to wear any shade of purple as it was her favorite color.
