On the night of September 6th, 2021 my uncle, Jorge Godoy Lua, was walking down the street when a man shot him with no ulterior motive. He unfortunately did not make it that night. He was a father to two children who are devastated by his loss. He was an immigrant who came to this country with the hopes of providing a better future to his children. Words could not describe the love he had for his children. He even risked his life at one point just to be reunited with his children. Now his kids are left to grieve his loss. Most of his extended family is here grieving his loss all the while being there to console his children. We are asking for any donations toward helping cover the costs of his funeral and towards supporting his children.
