In Loving Memory of Jonnathon
March 28th, 1999 – March 21st, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share the devastating and unexpected loss of our beloved Jonnathon, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at 12:30 PM, just one week shy of his 26th birthday.
Jonny wasn't just my cousin - he was my brother. His passion for hair started at a young age when he would braid my hair for fun as kids. I remember people always thought we were siblings because we looked like twins. Jonnathon was a bright, creative soul with a deep passion for doing hair. He poured his heart into his small braiding business, making each client feel beautiful, confident, and seen. His favorite color was blue—a perfect reflection of his calm, cool, and kind spirit. And if you knew him, you probably shared a laugh over his favorite treat: a frappe.
He was the middle child of three, and after the heartbreaking loss of his older brother to COVID, life became more difficult for Jon. Yet he continued to show up with love, laughter, and generosity. He touched the lives of many with his talent, his humor, and his heart. He was deeply loved by his family, friends, and the community he built around him.
As we begin the painful process of saying goodbye, we are asking for support to help cover the costs of Jonnathon’s funeral service. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward giving him the peaceful and beautiful farewell he deserves.
Thank you for standing with us during this incredibly hard time. Your love, support, and prayers mean the world.
With love and gratitude,
The Family of Jonnathon E.
