In memory of Jonathan Kolman

Family and friends,
As many of you know, my family suffered a devastating tragedy on the night of March 28th. My brother, Jonathan, took his own life.
Jonathan was the most selfless, big-hearted, animal-loving, talented, funny, and loyal 23 year old. He loved his family deeply, he was with his girlfriend for 8 years, and had many passions. He loved music, especially rock, and played the keyboard. He had gerbils and a cat. He had a Mazda Miata that always had problems, which he loved fixing. He loved candles and the color purple. Like most young people, he suffered with confidence and finding love through relationships. He struggled with himself often.
In 2004 we lost my youngest brother, James. He was four years old and had cerebral palsy. No family should have to lose a child/sibling, but we have now lost two sons/brothers. My parents were not financially prepared for this and my dad recently lost his job because of the Coronavirus. We are asking for any help possible. Donations, prayers, and love. Everything will go towards his funeral and headstone. We are trying to find closure and want to give Jonathan the best memorial that we can. We are so thankful for the support and love we have received. Please know it is helping us see light through this darkness.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” -Matthew 5:4
