In Memory of Joismayra Balderrama

Hello our names are Yaneth Palacios and Elizabeth Orozco, We are raising money on behalf of our beloved little cousin Joismayra Balderrama who on December 29th at 5:20pm passed away due to a tragic accident. Joismayra was on her way back home during a snow storm when she was struck by the Metra. At 9pm police officers showed up to the home of Joismayra and gave her father the terrible news. The family was in awed and in shock when they broke the news to us. Joismayra also known as Josy was, a daughter,sister, cousin, and friend. She was currently attending her junior year at Addison Trail Community High School in Addison, Il. She had transferred this year after attending at York Community High School. She was a very intellectual and smart girl with so much potential and many new opportunities ahead of her. She enjoyed learning new things and was open to anything. Joismayra loved helping everyone out and always was so caring. She was working a part time job at a nursing home in Oak Brook since it was always a dream of hers to help others in need. She cared for all her elderly friends from her job. Josy would always express her feelings of how it was such a great experience working with them and how she wanted to become a caregiver at her job and wanted to apply for a higher position. The money collected through this fund will go towards funeral and burial expenses. And what ever is left will be donated back to any fund in need. Please family and friends we would greatly appreciate any help through these difficult times. We’re truly appreciative to all who are helping out with donations and support. We will greatly miss it our sweet angel and her beautiful smile. ❤️
