In Memory of John Wu

On August 2, 2022, my brother, John, passed away due to a brain hemorrhage that he suffered about 2 weeks ago. The brain hemorrhage was at the brain stem, which regulates most of the body’s life functions, and therefore the doctors would not operate. He had high blood pressure, but no other pre-existing medical conditions. You can imagine the shock my family is going through, especially my sister in law who was in the midst of packing to relocate to Las Vegas with my brother, and my parents who have to bury their child. I know many will agree that my brother was one of the nicest person you will ever encounter. He often goes above and beyond to help another person, truly believing that he should only treat another person based on how he wanted to be treated. Even when he did not get the same treatment in return, he never lost faith in the golden rule. We will truly miss him and my daughter will never grow up to get to know the uncle who always thought and cared about her from California. RIP, John. I’m truly sorry I took it for granted that you will always be there for me.
