In Memory of JP

It is with sadness I inform you about the tragic loss of JP. On August 5th just before 4:00 PM, JP was traveling home from work on Highway 163 to pick up his daughters when he collided with a Big-Rig.  We are shocked and devastated.

JP was a dedicated dad to his two daughters, ages 7 and 5. In January 2019 he left the East Coast to start a new life as a single father in San Diego to offer better opportunities for his girls. The identity of JP and his daughters are disguised to protect his daughters from their abusive mother, who has lost all of her parenting rights. JP demonstrated an unwavering work ethic to provide for his children.  For those of you who knew JP, you know he lived his life for his family. It's heartbreaking to imagine everything these girls have gone through, and now to lose the most important person, their dad.

It takes a village to raise a child. Now I call on our village to support JP's relentless efforts to give his girls an opportunity for a better life. Your assistance will be used to establish a trust for his girls. Contributions will help provide basic life needs and enable his girls to pursue educational dreams and aspirations.

GoFundMe requires a fund goal to be set. How can one quantify this kind of loss? $50k? $100k? $1M? The goal is set at a modest $20k.

Please consider donating if you are able to do so, and share this with your community if you feel inspired. We are very grateful for every donation.

With Love,
JP's work-family
