In Memory of John Colin Yeates, 13.9.61 - 22.8.24
We’re raising £500 in memory of John Colin Yeates to be donated to Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Crews from the South west ambulance service attended to John and due to high winds the air ambulance couldn’t fly but the critical care team came by road instead. Sadly they couldn’t save him but they went above and beyond to give him every chance to be.
They continued to give him CPR for nearly 2 hours and even when they were physically exhausted from what they needed to do, they continued to support family and friends that were in attendance for hours afterwards.
John was a much loved, cared for and cherished member of our family. He was an amazing father and father in law to Jonathan and Maxine, and an adored Gramps to JJ.
He was a much loved brother and best friend to Debbie and Mark, son to John and Norma, Uncle and friend.
His infectious laugh and cheeky personality won the hearts of many and friends and colleagues all equally adored him.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust is a registered charity providing an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) in Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.
