In Memory of John – A Life of Love, Loyalty, and Service

On behalf of our dear friend Gretchen, we are heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of her beloved fiancé, John.

John tragically passed during what was meant to be a routine surgery. He was truly one of a kind — the life of the party, always making people laugh, yet deeply grounded in loyalty, love, and service. A proud veteran, John served his country in the Gulf War and remained a loyal friend, partner, and patriot throughout his life.

John and Gretchen's story was a beautiful one. After reconnecting years after first meeting, they found in each other the love they had always hoped for. They were planning their future years together — full of adventure, laughter, and shared dreams. Now, those plans have been heartbreakingly cut short.

With John's passing, Gretchen now faces the immense emotional and financial burden of laying her partner to rest and adjusting to life without him. As a retiree, she is in need of support to cover funeral expenses and basic living costs during this incredibly difficult time.

We’re asking for your help to ease some of that burden. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping Gretchen honor John's memory and begin navigating life without him by her side.
