Hello family and friends, I am Joey's youngest daughter, Dawn. My dad passed away peacefully in his sleep last week. This was very unexpected for us all and left us heartbroken. Your support will have a lasting impact on our family during this extremely hard time.

Whether he was Joe, Joey, Joe Kidd, or otherwise to you, Dad was a light in all of our lives that will forever be deeply missed. He was hard to love sometimes but even harder to stay upset with. He loved all of his friends and family so very much and cherished those bonds deeply.

Unfortunately, Dad didn’t have any after-life savings or life insurance for a memorial or other closures. My sisters and I want to give him the memorial services and celebration of life that he truly deserves, and that’s what this GoFundMe is for.

His memorial service will be held on Monday January 27th in Wheeling, IL
