In Memory of Joey Brandt

Donation protected
As some of you may have unfortunately heard, Joey (“Lil Man”) Brandt tragically lost his life to the “toy” he held near and dear to his heart-a Motorcycle Accident at the young age of 33.

Joey leaves behind not only an entire family and beautiful girlfriend, Erin, unprepared by the shocking and heart-breaking news, but also as of just five weeks ago, a miracle of a sweet baby girl.

Though the grief the Brandt Family is experiencing is immense beyond words, stronger we unite to honor the life of a young-man taken from this world just a tad too soon. Today and every day, Joey will forever be remembered for his adventurous and spontaneous personality, little shit-head of actions, and scrawny, blue-eyed, but wide-smiled face.

While the heartache lies in the longing of that famous cackle of a laugh-a “true” asset that made Joey, Joey, and as the attempt to pick up the broken “pieces” of hearts, emotions, and a soul not able to see tomorrow, our family prays that Joey’s wild and lively spirit remains alive in us all.

Due to the unexpectedness of this tragedy, the Brandt family would appreciate nothing more than any help one could provide to offset the high costs of memorial expenses, as we learn, laugh, cry, and struggle over Joey’s passing. In addition, a portion of any funds raised will also go to further provide for Joey’s newborn daughter, Jamison, who will grow up to learn only by word-of-mouth the love and adoration HE had for her.  No donation is too small, and the power of prayer, lending of a hand, and endless support goes a long way.

Still growing, still learning, still maturing. So youthful, so energetic, so full of life. The goofiest son, little brother, favorite nephew, fun-loving cousin, crazy uncle Joey, and newest father figure. Gone is a life seemingly unfinished, yet ironically, fulfilled. After all they say, “Only The Good Die Young,” so for now, until we meet again. RIP 9/19/84-8/07/18.
