Help Us Lay Joseph "Joe" S. Johnson to Rest and Support His Family

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unfortunate passing of Joe Johnson. Joe passed away Saturday November 8, 2025 surrounded by family. Joe worked at various Ford Dealerships for over twenty plus years. He has a passion for writing poetry and special letters to friends and family. Joe had a full life of adventures. He was an open-wheel race car driver, a past member of the Northwest Indiana Sports Club of America, an avid camper, a sponsor for Muscular Dystrophy camp-a-thons, a bowling coach, a Faith Formation Instructor, a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a collector of cars, a player of cards, retired from being a bus driver for over 10 years with the Lake Central School Corporation, and a huge family man. He was a son, father, brother, partner, uncle and friend to many and has touched many lives.

As his family navigates this devastating loss, we are reaching out to our community, friends, and family for support. All donations will go directly toward funeral expenses and helping his loved ones cover immediate financial needs during this time due to time needing to be taken off of work for the family. Every little bit helps and I speak for the family and say we are deeply grateful for any amount given towards this cause or by sharing with others.

Thank you for all the years of memories grandpa. I will love and miss you always. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as well.
